How to change default editors in OS X?

I've been a MAC user for half a decade and I wish I've know this tip/tutorial before. It's really a time saver and I'm talking about changing the default editor in Mac OS X. I can easily find my way in changing the default editor in Windows(PC) (if you don't know how to do it in PC, shoot me an email).

When I'm editing the codes, I don't like HTML editors(e.g.Dreamweaver) a lot and prefers simple text editors(e.g. Textedit, Textwrangler). Given that, I want the file to be open by default in Textwrangler in lieu of Dreamweaver. So, here's how...

Changing default editor in OS X:
Step 1. Right-click(Cmd+click) on the file and choose 'Get Info.' [shortcut key= Command + i)

Step 2. Under the 'Open with:' section choose from the drop-down the new default application you desired. If the desired application is not in the list, choose 'Other...' and browse for the application you want.

Step 3. If you want the changes to take effect on similar documents, click on 'Change All....'

Step 4. Now, try to open the file if it opens to your desired application. If not, go back to Step 2 and check the default application. If it works close the 'Get Info' box and the file should now open with the application you set.

This tutorial applies to any and all files/applications in Mac OS X. Simply choose the desired default application for the files.

Now, I won't waste my time by right-clicking and choosing 'Open with' as files will open with the application that I want.
